Compassionate Care for our most vulnerable
Many people are experiencing mental distress, family violence, addictions and homelessness.
We will discuss ways we can promote compassionate care and create positive whole health outcomes with our most vulnerable people.
· Dr. Antonia van Loon introduces a model of compassionate Faith Community Care that works.
· Vicky Legge tells us how the Faith Community Nurse (FCN) role in a faith-based service promoted whole health for vulnerable people.
· Cassandra Schwarz shares some true stories that show how compassionate care can create positive health impacts for vulnerable people.
AFCNA’s AGM will run from 7-8 p.m.
