Mental health and the Faith Community

Mental distress is growing issue in our community and many people are falling through gaps within formal care systems.

Millie Davey is a Mental Health Nurse and Board Member of AFCNA who founded ‘Share – doing life together’ a caring community group that promote mental health and connect people into life-enhancing relationships.

Millie will tell us how ‘Share’ works and how it can be replicated by today’s churches to meet the growing need for caring community.

Time:

• AFCNA’s AGM will run from 7-8pm
• Our speaker Millie Davey will speak from 8-9pm
